New Poetry/Quote Book And An Invitation To Poets by BJ Neblett

New Poetry/Quote Book And An Invitation To Poets by BJ Neblett

Check out this great new book of inspirational poems and quotes from my friends at Wingless Dreamer. Just click the image for more info and to purchase the book. And if you look close, you'll find a quote of mine!

Also, I have decided to open this blog to new and emerging poets. I am shooting for a target date of July, but please don't hold me to it. I am thinking of spotlighting three poems from three different poets whose works have received little or no publication. Check back here over the next few days or so, as I am still working out all the particulars. You will be able to submit your work through Submittable. If you are not familiar with Submittable, click here submittable.com to check it out and sign up. It's free.

I hope to be hearing from all the new poets out there!

Peace,

BJ

Inside You

I want to be inside you

Inside your mind

To know how you feel

Inside your thoughts

Your hopes your dreams and fears

Inside your arms

Protected and warm

Inside your eyes

To see and touch your world

Inside your laugh

Know you as a child

Inside your heart

And know the things you hide

I want to be inside you

And fill your life with love

Said Spring To Winter

Said Spring to Winter:            Said Winter to Spring:

In silence we meet                  Don’t ask me my name

Specter of my dreams             I am just a man

The future in your eyes           Don’t seek tomorrow

Uncertain but true                   And it will be yours

How am I to know                  Ask me no questions

What truths will I find            I’ll tell you no lies

In your gift to me                    Take all I offer

Afraid to open                         As long as it lasts

The longings inside                 Don’t question your heart

Untouched and frozen            And love will be ours
